Yes — this course is designed for DSLR or Mirrorless cameras. Entry-level models are absolutely okay, but this course is not for iPhone or point-and-shoots (that’s The Hobbyist Photographer).

This is the next step up — focused on professional techniques, brand photography, and client-level work.

You’ll get the most out of this course if you already understand the basics of lighting and composition (like what’s covered in The Hobbyist Photographer).

Absolutely. You’ll learn Lightroom Creative Cloud (CC) editing from start to finish, with lessons on presets, exporting, and my personal pro workflow. Please Note: You can edit on Lightroom Classic, but we don’t cover that software in this course.

Hello hello!
I’m multi-creative: photographer, writer, artist, podcaster, content creator, Squarespace web designer, graphic designer … honestly, the list is longer than my arm. And if you’re a creative person, I can bet you’re not just one thing either!
In 2020 I left my last 9-5 job and bought a $200 DSLR to capture my Mum’s creative studio atelier. Because the truth is … photography is expensive for small businesses and brands who spend hundreds, if not thousands a year outsourcing. So I figured, why not learn it myself and get us seen? And get seen we did!
I’m Georgie
Within a few months, we were approached for our first magazine feature … within six months, I captured my first editorial spread! And … I incidentally launched a successful photography career!
Now, I’m an award-winning brand, interiors and travel photographer, who is frequently published in top magazines and works with top clients around the country and oversees.
